(More customer reviews)They are right, it looks stupid as heck in the light. Its a styrofoam tube with some lights on one end and an on button. It has to be experienced in the dark - in the dark, it appears the whole tube lights up evenly, you can't notice it looks like a styrofoam noodle, the styrofoam part of it makes it obvious its light weight and made that way on purpose, and the refresh rate of the lights makes the multicolor mode very trippy when it pulses as it is moving through the air at 15 hertz or so. So, worth the $8!
