'Flood Light' Head Lamp: 12 LED TWELVE LED Head Light

Bought two of the lights and when they arrived neither of them worked. Sent them back via Amazon return shipper label. Have had a Rayovac Sportsman LED Headlight for 3 years and have used and abused it and it STILL works, and used very little battery power when using the LED. It also has a small bulb style flashlight bulb with uses more battery life and gives more light, but you don't have to use that function. Buy Ray-O-Vac!!!

Reefmaster SL-960D SeaLife External Flash for Digital Cameras Review

Reefmaster SL-960D SeaLife External Flash for Digital Cameras
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased the SL-960D for a trip to Cozumel in December 2005. I selected this product based on a budget limit of $350, and what I could determine about it's capability and quality from reading other reviews.
FEATURES: Uses 4 "AA" batteries. All of my other camera equipment for this dive trip used "AA"'s and I didn't want to have to deal with proprietary battery packs, so this was am important feature for the flash unit.
LIGHT-POWER: The SL-960D is a single-head strobe with a Guide number of about 17 at maximum power output. Professional U/W photographers almost always use dual-head lighting systems with Guide numbers of 50 or more, but this was out of the question for my budget. The "range" of the SL-960D, in which it gave best results, was 2'~4' from the camera to the subject. The camera was a Canon A-620, a P&S with a pretty small lens and a maximum aperture of 2.8 (not really great light gathering power). A digital SLR with an F1.4 lens would probably have achieved better results from this relatively low powered flash gun. That said, I was able to get some really amazing stills on the 17 dives in which I had the flash gun mounted. When everything was just right, fish not moving too fast and at the "just-right" distance from the camera, clear water with no suspended particulates, and the optimal camera settings, the photos were better than I could have hoped for clarity and color. But, if the subject was beyond 5'~6', the light from the flash gun was usually too dispersed and weakened to make much difference. In other words, this flash gun did a decent job within it's design limitations, but don't expect miracles. In all fairness, this was my first dive trip in which I took high quality U/W camera equipment; my lack of expertise and experience probably meant that I lost a lot of shots that a professional would have gotten with the same equipment.
The SL-960D unit is triggered by slave-strobe from the camera's built-in flash. On about 1 in 20 shots, the SL-960D failed to fire or if it did fire, it was not synchronized properly to the camera shutter. With this in mind, users are recommended to take duplicate shots of important subjects, so "bad" shots can be deleted. The SL-960D has a dial to regulate power output, but I quickly discovered that the unit isn't powerful enough to bother with "low" settings; I left it on full power for the rest of the vacation after the first dive.
I used 2000mAH NIMH cells in the SL-960D, and averaged about 60 shots per dive using flash; the flash never ran out of battery power on a dive. Build quality of the unit felt okay for the price. The polycarbonate housing and battery loading hatch are fairly thick and the hinges and locking latch feel like they are of reasonably good quality. The mounting plate and flexible arm worked well on the Canon WP-DC90 camera housing. The flex arm was easy to hold and provided a good grip for the left hand.
CONCLUSION: If your budget for an underwater flash gun is limited to less than $400, the SL960D is probably the best unit you will be able to afford. But, if you can afford to spend more, like maybe $1000~$1500, a dual head Sea and Sea or Ikelite lighting system offers a lot more power, which will enable you to use smaller lens openings and faster shutter speeds. NOTE: The SL960D is flash-strobe light for still photography, it is NOT a continuous-emitting light for videography.

Im a veteran of the armed forces, and seen enough stuff to know that this is pretty decent for the price. I must admit, I was looking for just a cheap 4x30 scope for my 20" ar15 and came across this. I figured eh, for the price, what the heck, if I dont like it, ill return it.
The scope is pretty good, which was expected. But the big shocker was the tac flashlight and the laser sight. Wow, I was AMAZED by these two products. I honestly expected them to stink, but wow am I suprised.
You guys def. get 2 thumbs up for this cheap, but nice built.

Pistol and Rifle Led Flashlight/Quick Release Weaver Review

Pistol and Rifle Led Flashlight/Quick Release Weaver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have this mounted on a Sig Sauer SP2022 in 9mm. As others have said the light has to slip on the front, so rails need to be opened ended which is the case with my Sig. The fit is VERY tight on my gun. I've seen other reviews that say they won't fit sigs due to the rail shape. Well it does fit mine, and the tight fit is something I like. I use this as bedside gun for me and my wife, so the light is not constantly being pulled on and off. If it were, I think I would have to sand it down a little to make it easier to get on and off. As it is, the tight fit makes it a good solid mount.
The construction, fit and finish are incredible for such a cheap product. Light is very bright and beam is very uniform, especially at the center of the beam. At average home across the room distance you get a very bright basket ball sized center beam that is accurate enough to nearly be an aiming system all by its self. The spill over illuminates everything around this area very well and makes any target readily identifiable. Just a really great buy. After having a couple different lights from this company, it's really hard to justify the price for a surefire or what not.
None of my shooting buddies will believe me when I tell them how low the price is on NCStar products. The first thing I ever bought from them was a red dot sight for my shotgun. That cost me 30 bucks, and in all honesty has been just as good as much much more expensive brands I've owned in the past. Sure there are some little things that don't measure up quite as well to say EOTech, but for average civilian real world situations and usability, it's hard to find where the extra hundreds of dollars actually pays off.
Though I've never personally had a problem with any of their items, it seems from some reviews I've read that NCStar may have an issue with quality control. That may be one of the things sacrificed for the low price point. So if by chance you do get a bad one, I suggest getting an exchange. Odds seem to be good that the next one will be just fine and you'll still save hundreds of dollars. I've bought over a dozen things from them now, for myself and gifts, without a speck of trouble.
NCStar stuff is the greatest thing ever for gift giving. If you have a lot of shooter friends or family you have to buy some of these products. 20 to 50 dollars, two day delivery, and your friends think you dropped several hundred on them :) There is just no way to pick one of these items up in your hand and believe it cost $30. The build quality is just that good. Just screwing off the cap to stick in the battery feels like your handling a professional piece of equipment that carried a premium price tag.
To sum up...
Very happy. If you're thinking of getting a weapons light, do yourself a favor and at least try one of these before you go and blow a bunch of money. Worst case... you don't like it and you're out thirty bucks. Best case... you discover a hidden gem in the firearms market and start saving some serious dough on accessories from now on. Dough you can use to buy more actual guns rather than overpriced stuff to stick on your guns :)

Streamlight 69120 TLR-2 C4 LED with Laser Sight Rail Mounted Weapon Flashlight, Black Review

Streamlight 69120 TLR-2 C4 LED with Laser Sight Rail Mounted Weapon Flashlight, Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The price tag is high, but when the item is an important add-on to your primary sidearm, it's an easy choice.
I bought mine USED for quite a bit less than listed, because it only came with the GLOCK key for it. Of course I was buying it for a GLOCK 21, so no problem there. I'll go over the pros and cons as I see them, as objectively as I can. Cons first, because I think the negatives always weigh my decisions more than the positives.
Cons--Price. $200+ for an add-on with electronics and moving parts, hence more chances for failure(none so far, but it's a possibility). If you don't have a bearing holster, your old one won't be functional with this on the rail. Not waterproof, like the TLR-1(and a little bulkier of course). Attachment bolt needs regular cleaning/oiling as it is not aluminum/carbon but steel. Battery door will feel like a puzzle until you pull a quarter out of your pocket. Collects dust on the lens guard/laser like an old library(suprise...guns release hot powder residue bursts at barrel exit and breech). Which is probably what happened to K. Jordan. You have to clean after every use, you don't want that stuff building up. If you want to adjust the laser, you'll need a nearly microscopic .050" hex key, but that should come with a new one. That's the most I can come up with.
Pros--Reliable. That's about all I should need to say to justify it's value, but I've yet to have a problem. Eight boxes of ammo so far (that's four-hundred rounds of .45ACP worth) with it attached. I stagger on and off so the slight weight/feel difference doesn't change my aim, so the ease of attaching/detaching is welcomed. Though quick, it's not just snap on, I wouldn't trust that--there's a bolt that secures it for a tight grip, and it's pretty heavy duty...maybe overly so. Takes me under ten seconds. Pretty decent run time, I'd say about 2 and a half hours nonstop with the LED only. Not a big fan of lasers in general on sidearms, as they can quickly become a crutch, but the extra confidence of one zeroed at 20 yards when you need it alleviates that concern. Once again, after zeroing it at your optimal distance(mine was, possibly from the previous owner, zeroed at 20 yards when I first was going to check for adjustments) the laser is amazingly accurate. I definitely alternate to not become dependent, but the tight patterns I was hitting were better than I expected. Overall pretty light, about a third of a pound for 80 lumens is a nice ratio. Feels very sturdy in construction, 45ACP kicks like a mule compared to 9mm, and no shock damage. Love the paddle/switch design for momentary and steady. Clockwise (down for righties) to lock steady, counter for momentary, neutral for off. Trigger finger naturally rests right on it when in safety position. The switch is below paddle for laser/light/light & laser from left to right. I use my steady hand on that, but it'd be easy enough to reach it with your main hand.
This is starting to get long winded, but I think for a primary sidearm, if you're willing to shell out the cash, it's well worth it. Look for them used first if you can. So far, couldn't be happier with mine.

Had one of these for a while now... battery life is about a week on Rayovacs (tried energizer and duracell and i get about 3 days on those)... Takes good pics in the day... IR is a bit better at night than the flash.
Pros
-Cheap
-Mounting points are much better than my primos 46
-good daytime pics
-internal memory is nice... don't have to buy an sd
-good watertight construction
Cons
-battery life is a downer...in three weeks ive changed this ones batteries 3 times and my primos is still at 86%
-Slow shutter speed, but havent gotten a blank pic yet (couple of deer rumps though)
-IR is much better than flash so id get the IR version of this if your hearts set on WGI
Overall id prolly spend a little more money on A camera, but if your budgets under 100 bucks this one is probably your best bet. If you have a little extra to spend id Recommend a Primos Truth cam 46(see my review of that)... has lots more options and is as easy and quick (if not quicker) to set up and battery life is worlds better. that being said, between the 2 cams the WGI does have the best pic this year :)
