When I received my 24/7, I first took it out of the box and tested it. Unfortunately with my luck my 24/7 had a slight problem. When I put the light on the high output it started to flicker randomly. I called up Inova and they were very helpful and eager to help. I sent my 24/7 to them and they sent one back and it was good as new. No problems after that what so ever. Excellent customer service on Inova's part. Despite this I would still highly recommend this light. I use it with the head band all the time. I would highly recommend getting one for your car.

Really like this light. It's small and compact yet durable and brighter than a mag light 4d cell. The range is great. It's about the same price as the cheaper surefire; but, it's a concentrated beam instead of a flood; but, with enough surrounding light to see around you at a close distance as well as far.

Streamlight 76113 Polystinger LED Flashlight with 120-Volt AC/DC and 2-Holders, Black Review

Streamlight 76113 Polystinger LED Flashlight with 120-Volt AC/DC and 2-Holders, Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I come from a family of peace officers and firefighters and I've known the brand Streamlight as far back as I can remember. These lights are tough, durable and more importantly BRIGHT! My brother who is in police academy told me that his instructor requested the students to purchase this particular flashlight because of the strobe feature, which can be used for tactical entry as well as a temporary defense. (The experience of encountering a bright strobing light can cause dizziness and even nausea in some people.) At any rate, I purchased this light from Amazon.com and liked it so well that I decided to get one for myself. After some shopping around I did find this item at a local store (a plumbing supply company of all places) for $95 which only included one charger. Not a problem.
When the light is turned on it by default uses high intensity. If you keep the power button depressed, in about one second the intensity of the beam will start to decrease to "medium" and a "low" intensity. The strobe function is activated when the power button is rapidly pressed twice. Streamlight does offer a power button located on the "[...]" of the flashlight for power access for "over-handed" use, and is an optional feature.
The battery is considered fully charged after being charged for 12-14 hours...so it takes a while; however, the battery memory is not altered if the battery is not completely discharged regularly. This means that the life span of the battery charge is not diminished if the light sits in the charger for weeks at a time. I consider this a HUGE PLUS!
So, if you're on the fence about purchasing this flashlight, I can honestly say that you will not be disappointed in the performance of this Polystinger. I'm seriously considering getting another one for the car.
**And if you do decide to go with this unit, whatever you do, DO NOT LOOK INTO THE FLASHLIGHT while it is on!!! it is VERY bright!

Sig Sauer Weapons Light & Laser w/LED Bulb Md: STL900WLL . Review

Sig Sauer Weapons Light and Laser w/LED Bulb Md: STL900WLL .
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The light is fantastically bright with a strobe function that is seriously disorienting. The laser is highly visible and easily adjustable. The battery life is no better or worse than any other high intensity flashlight/laser combination.I've been to the range once and have messed around with the unit resulting in several hours of "on-time" and I am still using the original battery. The light comes packaged in a nice plastic case with a thumbscrew that can be used with bare fingers and a screw that can be used with a coin or a screwdriver as well as a hexkey that snaps into the unit to adjust the laser.
I am using this on a SigP250 Compact GEN2 and it does come forward of the muzzle an inch or so. I expected this considering I am using a compact firearm. This means some gunpowder residue gets on the unit when firing. It wipes off easily and has had no effect on the lens of the light/laser.Unlike other units the laser is in the same housing as the light and both are protected by the same lens.
I paid less than $160 for this laser/light combo and I am extremely happy with what I received for the price. I wouldn't be dissatisfied with this if I had paid $220.

I've been using this Nitecore for several months with absolutely no problems. Of course it's from China. They are making the best LED's, like it or not. The size is very small and useful for a 126 lithium unit. The switch is metal, so no rubber to deteriorate. It's bright, and therefore eats its one battery fairly fast. Buy a multi pack and keep them around.

Bushnell 165 Lumen HD Square Beam Flashlight Review

Bushnell 165 Lumen HD Square Beam Flashlight
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I find this light extremely useful both at work or home. The "clean" beam edges and excellent level of brightness is all I need for getting around the job sight and lighting up areas when I need to locate some material. The clean edges/brightness have to be seen to be truly appreciated. I really don't like using a regular beam after using this light. The level and consistency of illumination inside the square beam area has spoiled me. Beam is bright enough to reach back into the far areas of my back yard to find my dogs on those nights they find something interesting and don't want to come in.
I can't vouch for any disorientation associated with the use of the strobe. If that is a major function you need, then you also should have access to good LLEA information associated with preferred frequencies, intensity, etc.
But for the light function itself, I think it is nothing short of superb for what it does. My favorite flashlight.
And as noted in a previous post, the only reason the rear end cap for locating the light is on is if you want it on or didn't read the directions and don't know how to turn it off. When it is on, it will go through batteries pretty fast. With it off, the flashlight is very good on battery life.

Olight T Series T20-T-R5 Flashlights Review

Olight T Series T20-T-R5 Flashlights
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This light is very small and powerful for its size, and is decently affordable at under $60.
The appearance, fit and finish are quite nice, but strangely there is no serial number or even an instruction manual indicated.
This phantom company doesn't even have contact info besides an email address. Strange.
The accessories include a nice carrier that can be belt-mounted, and spare parts. Decent.
It has a nice black anodized aluminum body and the tailcap allows momentary-on and constant-on function,
while the bezel is easily adjusted to change the light output. The tailcap can be switched out, I guess for
a pressure switch. The pocket clip is nice, strongly attached to the body, but therefore isn't adjustable side to side.
The output of this light seems about the same as my Fenix PD30, and I agree that the actual lumens are exaggerated because they
are measured from the emitter. It makes a great light to carry everyday because of its light weight and bulk.
(Disclaimer-Amazon advertises this as being a 310-lumen light, but the packaging clearly states it is a 270-lumen light. Not cool!)

Surefire T1A Titan Variable-Output LED Flashlight Review

Surefire T1A Titan Variable-Output LED Flashlight
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
You'd think the beam would steadily dim as the battery weakens. It doesn't. It begins to flicker almost imperceptibly, then obviously, then it begins to STROBE. You have to constantly readjust the beam to bring it to a level where the flicker disappears. You'll never stop having to readjust the beam if you use the light for a longer period.
Take the same battery and put it in a Surefire Backup, for example, and the beam will be solid and steady although not as bright as a new battery, obviously.
I called Surefire about the one I bought. They said flickering and strobing were to be expected. They should have mentioned this on their website or in the owner's manual, but they don't. I wouldn't have purchased it had I known flickering and strobing were normal. The steady light you can obtain once you crank down the lumens is quite dim. The same battery will give you a far higher level of steady light in other non-"adjustable" 123 lights.
This product is not up to Surefire's self-reported standards and was a total disappointment.
Stick to the lights with fixed settings. The "variable" Titan actually has three settings: dimming, flickering and strobing.
I could not resolve the issue through Surefire and had to use other remedies.

The ultra compact T1A Titan flashlight boasts impressive output from a single 123A lithium battery, but it also offers a near infinite range of lower output settings which allow you to conserve battery power or preserve your night vision when doing close work like map reading. A virtually indestructible power-regulated LED emitter and precision micro-textured reflector produce a smooth beam that's selectable, with just a twist of the bezel, from zero to 70 lumens-more than three times the output of a much larger two-D-cell flashlight. The stylish T1A Titan is small enough to attach to your keychain, wear around your neck on its included lanyard, or stay in your pocket for easy access.

We have over 16 Flashlights being used in our facility. We were using rechargable Maglights. Since swithing to the streamlight rechargeable I have not had to replace one flashlight. A forklift drove over one of the lights and it still works. It is a different shape but it still works. One of my mechanics has an older rechargable streamlight (4 years or older) and the switch would not stay on. I took it into a Streamlight dealer and they replaced the switch while I waited at no charge. The flashlights are guaranteed. I love these flashlights. They are very bright and extremely durable.

Fan doesn't take standard base bulbs, but those b10 candelabra base bulbs (not included). Two 60 bulbs are sufficient lighting for a medium sized room. Fan has three settings and a reverse switch for summer/winter. It can also be mounted close to the ceiling, or on angled ceilings depending on preference. I would recommend considering the price.

Fenix 6 Level High Performance Cree LED Flashlight, Black, 4-Inch Review

Fenix 6 Level High Performance Cree LED Flashlight, Black, 4-Inch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Of my dozens of fancy flashlights, this is the one I use most.
All of the parts fit together tightly. No threading problems or
The LED is one of the brightest and most efficient available. You can get brighter flashlights, but most of them are using the same/similar LED with more power run to it, so it's just a matter of trading battery life for brightness. The 120 lumens rating is probably based on LED manufacturer specs. It is similar in output to a Surefire G2, which is plenty for almost any task.
The size is perfect. Much smaller than police-style flashlights, even though it has as much power. But it's not too small to hold.
The black finish is very durable. I carry it in my pocket with keys and other junk, and it still looks mostly new. It doesn't wear down like a Maglite or most cheaper LED flashlights.
The battery life is amazing. You can use a standard alkaline AA, but a lithium AA will be worth it for long-term use.
The front end has a perfectly clear glass lens and aluminum reflector, not plastic parts like cheaper flashlights.
Operation is also perfect. It has two general modes. In "Turbo" mode, set by simply keeping the flashlight screwed together, it always turns on at full power, and can be switched to strobe mode by double-tapping the button. "General" mode, set by unscrewing the head just slightly, offers a range of 3 brightness levels which can be cycled through by tapping the button multiple times. I always leave mine set to "turbo", as I prefer to just turn it on and off.Other options...
Fenix PD20: Almost identical to the LD10, but it uses a short lithium CR123 battery and is 50% brighter (I have one of these, and I find that the LD10 is plenty small and bright)
Leatherman Serac-3: Not a bad flashlight for the price (about 10 bucks cheaper), but it always starts at low power, requiring 3 clicks to turn on fully each time. Not as bright as the LD10, but still very good.

The Fenix LD10 LED flashlight is digitally regulated and digitally controlled. It has two output modes which produce a total of six levels of output. These modes not only allow the user to select the best compromise between brightness and runtime for any given task, but they also help to aid in an emergency. The LD10 does all this and still retains a very compact size and uses a commonly found AA battery. Fenix® TK11 Flashlight Review

Fenix® TK11 Flashlight
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My first experience with the Fenix brand was with the PD20 I had given as a gift. And after having a chance to play with all the modes and seeing just how much light they actually put out, I decided to purchase one of my own. I definitely wanted the strobe feature & cigar ring so I went with the TK 12, and I'm very pleased so far:
Dual outputs stored in separate modes. It seems complicated at first, but its actually very simple to switch between them; loosen, tighten, loosen, tighten in rapid succession to cycle to next mode. Once you're in the mode you desire, its a simple matter of keeping the bezel tightened for mode B or loosened for mode A. The manual states that mode order is Outdoor, Camping, Hunting, but it seems to actually be Camping (5/90), Outdoor (50/225), Hunting (225/strobe).
Output memory is also a nice touch. Once you turn the flashlight on again, it will still be in the last mode you selected. It also has a temporary on feature.
It is also built like a tank. This thing has a solid, weighty feel to it (but barely noticeable while worn on the belt) and could easily survive hard knocks and drops. The cigar ring is also removable if you don't need or want it, however removing it leaves a portion of threading on the tube bare. Fenix offers a replacement smooth ring to protect the threading if you desire that style more.
While not mentioned on the list of contents/features the TK12 comes with a spare rubber click cap (orange. The one installed is black), two spare O-rings, one for the battery cap and the other for the bezel, a carrying pouch & a lanyard. The belt clip shown is included, but does not come installed on the flashlight (you have to unscrew the battery cap & cigar ring to slide it on). And although appearing flimsy and thin in the pictures, the clip is actually very robust and extremely taut, I have to give it a good force just to clip it onto my pants pocket. You could clip your TK12 to your belt with little worry of it slipping off.
I was, however, somewhat speculative of the 200 meter range claim and thought maybe they mean 200 feet? So this was one of the first things I decided to test; there is a school building where the street ends a couple blocks away from my home, which is easily 200m away and at night you can only see the silhouette of the school in the horizon, but the iron gate in front of it is completely invisible in the dark. So I went outside, stood in the middle of the street and turned on the TK12 in 225 lumen mode and completely lit up the street corridor, the tree lines were flooded with spill ring light, every single street sign and other shiny surface reflected light back and the iron gate and school building became visible. Enough so that if someone were standing in front of it, you could easily spot them. Just awesome. Granted, a building is a pretty large object to shine light at, but the fact remains that the beam was strong enough to cut through the dark blotch at that distance and present something identifiable.
One thing so far that I do not like is that it cannot stand on its end due to the rubber click cap extending beyond the recess of the battery cap. In 5 lumen mode, the TK12 can light up a room adequately and it would have been nice to be able to use it on its end as a mood lamp. But for all this light does fantastic its only a tiny con.
Other than that, I love the versatility of having different output modes. Its like a jack of all trades flashlight, with the exception of doing each trade perfectly. 5 Lumen mode is great for navigating in the home at night, 50 lumen is about as bright as you'll want get without ruining your night vision too much, and 225 lumen indoors will obliterate your night vision as the intense brightness reflects off the walls, worse so if reflected off a mirror or other shiny surface. If the beam were directed into an intruders eyes, it would easily cause temporary blindness. Perfect for mounting on a Shotgun/Rifle or using in conjunction with a Pistol (hence the cigar ring).
One other thing about the TK12... Fenix is now selling a replacement body (about 15 dollars at some online retailers) which allows the use of rechargeable 18650 batteries. You can now have your cake and eat it too if you were having trouble deciding between the mode features of the TK12 or the versatility of using rechargeable 18650 batteries of the TK11.

Brinkmann 821-8000-0 Solar Home Security SL-8 Motion Detector Review

Brinkmann 821-8000-0 Solar Home Security SL-8 Motion Detector
Average Reviews:

Given all of the so-so ratings for other solar-powered motion detector flood lights, I went into this purchase with some reluctance. I had originally wanted the solar-powered motion detector flood lights from Brookstone, Solar Motion Detector Light (because of its high user reviews), but that item appears to be no longer available.
However, so far, my experiences with the Brinkmann have been very surprising, and very positive. It installs easily - two screws for the light-battery pack-sensor unit, and three screws for the solar array. One 15-foot flexible cable connects the array to the battery pack. The provided instructions tell you to position the solar array so that it points due-south (a magnetic-north compass is useful but not required), and preferably, you want to mount the array where it gets maxium sun exposure all day (avoid shade from trees and rooflines as much as possible). In the winter, you'll want to watch for, and if necessary, remove, snow build-up. Two floodlamps allow you a pretty wide variety of positioning options - for example, I needed to illuminate both the sidewalk and the doorlock.
The instructions indicate that you should solar-charge the battery for at least three days before operation. There is a sensitivity range dial on the bottom of the sensor, which I set to the maximum. There is a mode switch on the bottom of the sensor with three positions - AUTO, TEST, and OFF. A removable rubber stub prevents inadvertent switch movement. With the switch in TEST, you can adjust the positioning of the sensor for optimal sensitivity, and you can adjust the position of the flood lighting. Most important, you can do this during daylight hours (so you're not wavying your arms around like a madman at night, or tripping over the garden hose or the dog walking back and forth to the sensor).
After the second day of charging, I did some simple experimenting with sensitivity of the sensor. My initial impressions were that the sensitivity was significantly shorter than the manufacturer claimed 75 feet (it was more like 25-30 feet). However, the lights were bright enough for my needs - granted, they are not nearly as bright as AC-powered floodlights, but they do cast MUCH more light than the typical gloomy solar-powered walkway/garden/outdoor lights.
After the third day of charging, I set the mode switch to AUTO. Returning home after dark, I was very pleasantly surprised that the sensor picked up my car as I pulled up the driveway. There was ample lighting, and without additional triggering movements, the lights stayed on for a good 90 seconds. Furthermore, the sensitivity was very good - easily covering the 75 feet from the sensor to the driveway (so it would appear that sensitivity is related to battery charge).
I have only one drawback (so far) - the color of the unit is industrial dark gray. It would be nice if the manufacturer would have additional colors, such as white, black, and neutral tan for better house matching. I may try painting mine with Rustoleum spray paint. An additional product suggestion would be the ability to add an additional battery to the unit the same way that you can add additional battery packs to a computer UPS (uninterruptible power supply).
Other potential problems could be how well the unit charges during the gloomy rainy and snowy days of Fall and Winter - I'll post a follow-up review in about 6-7 months. Also, I'll post some additional product photos.
For now, however, this unit is HIGHLY recommended.
Additionally, I have a FIVE-star rating for the seller OUTLET TRAIL - the unit was packaged inside a second, tight-fitting cardboard box, and shipping was very prompt.

Keep your home, RV or tool shed out of the dark with this Brinkmann Solar Motion Detector Home Light! SAVE BIG! No wiring required and no extra costs for you. Using only a screwdriver, you simply mount the solar panel on the roof, or any sunny location, and run the 15' cord to the light box mounted under eaves, entryways, patios, garages... it's your choice. The sun does the rest. The solar panel has a rechargeable 6V lead acid battery that charges during the daytime hours, and powers the 10W bulbs at night. Built-in photo cell prevents daytime operation so it's fully charged and ready to go when darkness falls. The infrared detector senses motion up to 75' away (can be adjusted from 3' to 75') and turns the lights on automatically. The light turns off automatically 1 1/2 minutes after the motion stops. Automatic temperature control reduces false triggering. Detector head and lamps can be adjusted horizontally and vertically. Solar panel measures 6 1/4 x 1/2 x 6 1/2" and the kit weighs 5 1/2 lbs.
