(More customer reviews)I have this light and the larger 8060 and both are comparable in brightness with the 8060 a little bit brighter but a lot larger. One advantage of the 8060 Pelican is that it can also use Alkaline batteries in addition to the nickel metal. It has a 4 hour runt time compared to the one hour of the smaller light. Seems its the light the one lone reviewer should be using that complained about the 7060. Four times the duration and quick change batteries from Pelican, problem solved. Having said all that I like the 7060 LAPD light better than the 80 series because its much more compact and has a lithium ion battery. End of world senario get the 8060, all other uses the 7060 is the way to go.
