(More customer reviews)This bulb is great for accent lighting. I have one shining down on the fireplace, another on the floor washing up a wall. The colors are brighter than many LED products. The remote can choose between switching from color to color, or fading from color to color. The color changes are faster than I would prefer--taking about 4 seconds between color switch. However, I've used it mostly with a single color constantly. Since it stays cool, you can put these in places where a hot bulb would be dangerous, such as inside a glass cabinet, or on carpeting. And I keep it on all the time, as it uses pennies of electricity per month.
CONS: There is no RGB custom color control--you have a choice of 16 preset colors only. However, I've found a good color among those 16 for each place I put one.
OVERALL: Bright, nice pure colors, lightweight, stays cool, low power. I have bought 4 of them for my house!
