(More customer reviews)It's okay but it would have been cheaper just to buy a new flashlight than upgrade my mini maglite.
The package for the Nite Ize NIQ2-07-1WC Upgrade II states that it's 65 lumens, not 55 like is shown in the product description page. It matches closely with my Surefire G2 so I think 65 is correct.
The tailswitch is also a 5 mode switch, NOT on/off/strobe like the product description page says. It has high/med/low and 2 strobe functions. The first strobe function flashes about once every three seconds and the second strobe function flashes about once every second so it cannot be used as a tactical strobe unless you just want the bad guy to think he's in a disco tech nightclub (a tactical strobe flashes around 5-10 times a second.
The only difference between this kit and the Nite Ize LUC2-07 L.E.D. Combo Kit is that this one has a brighter LED and costs 2 1/2 times as much.

1 WATT LED UPGRADEDesigned to upgrade your AA Mini MagLite® with this 1 watt Luxeon® L.E.D. super-bright flood and focused spot. Offers incredibly long battery life. IQ switch combo adds a multi-function push-button switch - turns on/off without adjusting focus, provides 3 power levels, 2 emergency strobe levels (fast & slow), and an auto-off function while in the first three modes after 14.5 min. to prevent accidental drainage. The switch itself is an L.E.D. flashing every few seconds so you can find it in the dark.
